My Proposal for Project

For the Higher Project, I want to arrange a fashion photography exhibition where my partner and I would have to display photographs we have taken. The photographs would be of volunteers modeling different cultural outfits to present fashion diversity. The photographs would also have to show sights of London as we would like to show the different cultures that we have here in London. In order to select who will model the selected outfits, we would need to hold an audition which would mean producing posters to make the audience aware of the audition and to sign up for it and then judge modeling skills. Moving forward we will arrange a date for all our volunteer models, dress them up and take them to different locations in London where we will take the photographs. My project falls under two categories, Artefact and Record. I intend to make-up the models and dress them up as well as photograph them in different locations. When all the photographs have been taken and are ready to be exhibited, we will need to think of different promotional methods to advertise our exhibition. Depending on our target audience, we have to think of appropriate promoting methods. Our initial ideas for promoting the exhibition is posters, tickets and little cards with some other photograph on it to give the audience a taster as our audience are students from different year groups who are interested in fashion. At the end of our exhibition, we will hand out evaluation forms to get feedback from our audience and what they have learnt from our exhibition.
